Terms of Use
Last updated: August 6, 2026 · Effective: August 6, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Poca 3D iPhone app, published by Melo Media LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of Wyoming, United States (“we,” “us”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Your license to use the app
Poca 3D is licensed, not sold, to you. Your license is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”), which applies to the app in full. These Terms supplement the Standard EULA and describe how our service works. Where these Terms and the Standard EULA conflict on a matter the Standard EULA addresses, the Standard EULA controls.
2. Subscriptions and purchases
Poca 3D is free to try. Without a purchase you can add up to 2 cards in 1 collection. Poca 3D Pro removes those limits and is offered in two forms:
| Plan | What it is |
|---|---|
| Annual | An auto-renewing subscription billed yearly. A free trial may be offered to first-time subscribers; its length is shown in the app before you buy. Apple limits introductory offers to one per Apple ID per subscription group, so you may not be eligible if you have used a trial before. |
| Lifetime | A single, one-time purchase. It does not renew and is never billed again. |
Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you confirm.
Auto-renewal terms
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
- The annual subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the then-current price.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renew in your Apple ID account settings, or from Settings → My Account in the app. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
What happens if a subscription ends
Nothing you made is deleted. If your subscription lapses, every card stays on your device exactly as it was. Cards beyond the free limit are simply locked and shown blurred until you resubscribe, at which point your full collection reopens untouched.
Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies. We cannot issue, approve, or deny refunds. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple refunds a purchase, the corresponding access ends.
3. Your content
The photos you scan and the cards, notes, and collections you create are yours. They are stored on your device, we do not receive them, and we claim no ownership or license over them. You are solely responsible for what you scan and for having the right to do so — particularly for material owned by someone else, which may be protected by copyright or other rights.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for anything unlawful, or to infringe anyone's rights.
- Attempt to circumvent purchase, subscription, or entitlement checks.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it despite this restriction.
- Interfere with or disrupt the app's operation or the systems of any third-party service it uses.
5. Third-party services
The app can hand a share video to other apps you have installed, such as Instagram or Messages. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them. Purchases run through the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms. Analytics are processed by PostHog, as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Availability and changes
We may update, change, or discontinue features of the app. If we discontinue a feature you paid for on a lifetime basis, or make a material change to these Terms, we will give reasonable notice in the app or on this page. Continuing to use the app after a change takes effect means you accept it.
7. Disclaimers
The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
In particular: Poca 3D estimates a card's physical dimensions from a photograph. Those measurements are approximations and will not be exact. Do not rely on them for grading, authentication, valuation, resale, or any other purpose where accuracy matters.
Your collection lives only on your device. We have no copy of it and cannot restore it. Backing up your iPhone is the only way to protect against loss, and you are responsible for doing so.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim arose, or twenty-five US dollars (US$25).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. In those places, the exclusions and limitations above apply only to the extent permitted, and nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms. Sections 3, 7, 8, and 10 survive termination.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except that this choice does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence.
